New Cabinet Ministry

On 9th June, 2024 Narendra Modi took oath as the Prime Minister of India for the 3rd consecutive term. Along with him the Council of Ministers also took the oath which was administered by the President of India Draupadi Murmu.
The Cabinet Consists of:
- Narendra Modi: Prime Minister Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions; Department of Atomic Energy; Department of Space
- Rajnath Singh: Minister of Defence
- Amit Shah: Minister of Home Affairs: Minister of Cooperation
- Nitin Gadkari: Minister for Road Transport & Highways
- JP Nadda: Minister of Health; and Minister of Chemicals and Fertilisers.
- Shivraj Singh Chouhan: Minister of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare; Minister of Rural Development.
- Nirmala Sitharaman: Minister of Finance; Minister of Corporate Affairs
- S Jaishankar: Ministry of External Affairs
- Manohar Lal Khattar: Housing and Urban Affairs, Power
- HD Kumaraswamy: Minister of Heavy Industries; Minister of Steel
- Piyush Goyal: Minister of Commerce and Industry
- Dharmendra Pradhan: Education Ministry
- Jitan Ram Manjhi: Ministry of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises.

The Cabinet Ministry is not specifically defined in the Constitution of India but through the 91st Amendment Act, 2003 the number of Cabinet Ministers was fixed to 15% of the total members of Lok Sabha i.e. 80.
The Council of Ministers consists of Cabinet Ministers, Ministers of State, and Deputy Ministers.
